Bret Michaels will headline the "Rock the Arena-Springfield" show at the Mass Mutual Center on Saturday at 5 p.m.
It is not the rock singer's first trip through town.
I don’t because I think that I was very lucky to be a part of something that was a big deal and a show that you know was successful at that time.
According to a statement from the Poison frontman's representative, "Although the couple have separated they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters, Raine Elizabeth and Jorja Bleu."The couple became engaged in 2010 when Michaels proposed on the finale of his VH1 show recently about the project.
"And it's such a diverse range of people, from Loretta Lynn and Joe Perry [who play on a reworking of the Poision hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn"] and Jimmy Buffett to Lil Jon, Michael Anthony, Ace Frehley, all the Skynyrd guys, guys from .38 Special and Blackfoot and Rascal Flatts' Jay [De Marcus].
The other bands on the Mass Mutual bill were all part of the 1980s Top 40 scene with songs like "Cherry Pie"(Warrant), "Round and Round," (RATT), and "Line of Fire" (Trixter).
Lita Ford parlayed her work with The Runaways into a solo career that included a chart-topping duet with Ozzy Osbourne on "Close Your Eyes Forever." Tickets, priced between $38 and $88, are available through the Mass Mutual Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets including and by telephone at (800) 745-3000.
Did you feel like other women there were really falling for Bret? What I do know is that if there was something that would have been able to transpire after the show on a more personal level without the cameras then that would be up to you know each individual but I honestly I didn’t really see that. I think some of the girls just sorta being as free as possible and really getting to know Bret on a different level and you know getting to experience his talents firsthand with his music and stuff.
