Danny retired as the Director of the EMS for the state of South Dakota.
Danny enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
He will be remembered for his dedication and devotion to helping others and his love for life and family.
The best travels were close to home to Mount Rushmore, Dinosaur Park and Wall Drug, which occurred almost every time the family was together.
After retiring, she volunteered at the Senior Center.

Preceding Gladys in death were her parents, George and Susan Hansell; husband, Harvey; daughter, Lois; son, Mark, Sr. Send Flowers Sign/View Registry Danny was born May 11, 1950, in Sturgis, SD, the son of Bill and Dorothy (Chaney) Hayes. Danny started his career in EMS in 1971 and graduated from South West Oklahoma City Community College with a Masters in EMS Training.
(Nina); son-in-law, Lester Aasheim; sisters, Laverne (Ercile) Gaumer, and Betty (Farnham) and Clifford Hardacre; brothers, Robert (Bernie) Faler, George (Eve) Faler, Franklin (Mary) Walker, Zachary Peterson, and Sharilyn Peterson; and friend, Joseph Overland. He ended his career as a Paramedic and was the SD Director of EMS.
